Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Robinson is Aspire’s independent owner, director and instructor as well as the owner and operator of Robinson Dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1999 from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Following dental school, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Baylor where she became a clinical faculty member. In 2000 she relocated to Chicago, Illinois and continued her dentistry in private practice. During the same period, she served as a clinical faculty member at The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

Dr. Robinson returned to Texas in 2003 and continued her practice at Robinson Dentistry. In 2004 The Academy of General Dentistry presented her the prestigious Fellowship Award symbolizing excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to outstanding patient care through continuing education.

Dr. Robinson is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and a recent board member of the Baylor College of Dentistry Alumni Association. She and her husband, Don, reside in Uptown with their daughter and son, Charlotte and Matthew, and rescue dog, Ivy. When Dr. Robinson isn’t practicing dentistry, you can find her in the gym weight training, practicing advanced Vinyasa yoga, playing piano, or spending time with her amazing husband and children.

Candiss joined our office in 2013 as our office manager and financial and treatment coordinator. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant and a Certified 3M Digital Impression instructor. Candiss is here to assist you with any questions you may have!

She grew up in the little town of Forney, which now is not so small! She and her husband are graduates of Forney and after they attended college, they decided to go back to live in their hometown. Her husband, Zach, is a football coach and teacher at Forney high. It is truly his dream job!

She has two beautiful children, Xavier and Lilah. Between football games, the kids, Xaviers soccer and their large families, there is never a dull moment.

Candiss has been in dentistry for more than 10 years and loves every bit of it. She is so eager to meet all of Dr. Robinson’s wonderful patients and let them know that she is here for them!

Mayra Mata attended our Aspire Dental Assisting School in 2014. She is born and raised in Dallas and is married with 2 sons, Leon and Ivan. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her boys at their school, doing arts and crafts, makeup and hair. Although she may seem quiet, she’s fiery on the inside!
